Adios Sourav Ganguly !!!

Today is the last day, Sourav Ganguly, one of the India’s fine and fantastic cricketers will be seen as an International Player in field… Ganguly is retiring from the International cricket after walking through a glorious journey of near 16 years…

Sourav leaves a highly impressive record behind him as he says bye to the international cricket stage… He is one of the batsmens who have an average of 40 plus in both Test and One Day format.. Ganguly scored 16 centuries & 35 half centuries  in Test Cricket and 22 centuries & 72 half centuries in One Dayers…

Ganguly has been India’s most successful Test Captain to date, winning 21 tests out of 49 tests and captaining India to the final of the 2003 World Cup… No one can forget the enthusiastic captain, who took off his shirt and brandished in air to celebrate his team’s vicory during the finals of the 2002 Natwest Trophy, in Lords.

Sourav who have debuted with a maiden century in his first test, now departing his career last with a golden duck(Jus like Sir Don Bradman, who also ended his career in a duck)… He has been a charismatic player and a  fearless captain always…  He is a man, who have shared his shoulders with great cricket icons like Sachin, Kumble, Srinath & Dravid…

MS Dhoni and his teammates really gifted Sourav with Border – Gavaskar Trophy Victory against Austrailia… Also they paid the tribute by seeing their “Dada” wearing the Captaincy Cap for the last wicket in today’s innings..

For his contribution to the nation and the team, we really have to feel proud of him… We surely gonna miss the man whom we most popularly adorned as “Dada” , “Prince of Kolkatta” & “Bengal Tiger”….
