எதிரிகளை வீழ்த்தினேன் - வெற்றி
எனும் வாகையைச் சூடிடவே!
 
நன்மக்கள் பலரை பலியாக்கினேன் – மென்மேலும்
புகழ்கள் சில நாடிடவே!
 
இன்று…
 
போர்கள் பல முடிந்தன…
நினைத்ததனைத்தும் கையில் கிடைத்தது…
இப்புவி,என்னை எதிப்பாரற்று கிடந்தது…
 
ஆனால்…
 
நாடி… தேடி… போராடி…
பெற்ற அந்த வெற்றி…
இன்பம் என்றொன்றை தந்திடவில்லை எனக்கு!
 
மாறாக…
 
விலகிச் சென்றது…
என்னை விட்டு…. என் மனதை விட்டு…
நிம்மதி என்ற ஒன்று மட்டும்.
 
இது…
 
எதற்கென்று தெரியவில்லை..
ஏனென்று புரியவில்லை…
 
வினாக்கள் நூறு எழுந்த என் நெஞ்சில்,
விடை ஒன்று கூட எழுந்திடாமல் போனது!
 
போருடையை கலைந்தேன்…
பொறுமையை பழகினேன்…
 
விழிகளை மூடி விடியலைத் தேட….
மீண்டும் ஒரு போர் உதிப்பதை உணர்ந்தேன்…

உன் கிட்ட கொஞ்சம் பேசனும்..
தாரளமாக பேசலாமே!
நீ அவளை காதலிக்கிறாயா???
ஏன் இந்த கேள்வி??!!
இல்லை, நீ கஷ்டப்பட்டாலும் பரவாயில்லை… ஆனால் என்னை மட்டும் அவளிடம் நெருங்க விட மாட்டேன் என்கிறாயே. அதனால் தான் கேட்டேன்…
